Scams and how to avoid them

Scammers may call pretending to be your relatives or friends and ask for an SMS code, supposedly to transfer money. They may also claim to be bank employees and request a code “to confirm a transaction” or “unlock your card.”&nbsp;Remember:You don’t need an SMS code to receive money.The bank will never ask for such information.Never share your SMS codes or personal details, even if the caller claims to be family or bank staff.

Fake advertisements

Scammers often disguise their fraud as “easy income”. They offer quick earnings by investing in a “profitable project”,completing a survey, becoming a “partner”, or receiving a gift. To proceed, they ask you to follow a link, enter your card details, or share an SMS code.&nbsp;Sometimes these offers appear to come from well-known people or companies to build trust. But behind the promise of easy money is usually an attempt to steal your funds.&nbsp;Stay alert: never enter data on suspicious sites or trust promises of effortless money.

Do not open unknown files in Telegram, WhatsApp, or other messengers.&nbsp;Fraudsters send harmful files disguised as documents, photos, receipts, or apps. Once opened, these files can give attackers access to your device and personal information, including your finances.

Scammers send fake messages offering free Telegram Premium subscriptions. These messages often come from friends or family — meaning the attackers have already gained access to their accounts.&nbsp;By clicking the link, you risk installing malicious extensions or granting access to your Telegram. As a result, scammers may read your messages, send links to others on your behalf, steal personal data — or even attempt to take your money.&nbsp;Never click suspicious links, even if they’re from someone you know. Contact the person directly to confirm if they really sent the message.

Telegram Premium as a gift

Fraudsters create fake pages using our bank’s name and logo. They message users offering “currency exchange services” and ask for money to be transferred “for conversion.” Once the money is sent, the fraudsters disappear and stop responding.&nbsp;Check pages and offers carefully, don’t transfer money to unknown people.
