How to recognize a scammer?

SMS code request

Never share SMS codes or personal data, even with those who claim to be your relatives or bank staff.

Fake advertisements

Scammers post fake ads using the name of the bank or well-known people, such as Abullo Qurbonov.

“Easy money”

They promise quick income and ask you to click a link or enter your personal information.

Files in messengers

Do not open unknown files in Telegram, WhatsApp, or other messengers: they may contain a virus.

Telegram Premium as a gift

Scammers send fake messages offering free Telegram Premium subscriptions. These messages often come from friends or family — meaning the attackers have already gained access to their accounts.

Phishing (fake websites)

One-day websites with “great deals” often appear in search results or ads. Never enter your personal information on such sites.

Encountered fraud?

Describe what happened. In the description field, include the scammer’s phone number, who they claimed to be, and attach screenshots or files (if available).

How to protect yourself

Stay calm, take your time, and don’t give in to pressure.

Don’t transfer money to unknown or suspicious accounts.

Double-check links and brand names for extra characters or typos.

Avoid clicking on suspicious links or unsolicited messages.

Make purchases only on official websites and trusted platforms.

Remember: legitimate companies never request payments to personal cards.

Only allow card transactions when you are present.

Never share your PIN, passwords, or CVV code with anyone.

If you lose your card or suspect data theft, block it immediately in the Alif app.
