You can now exchange currency in the Alif app

A new way to exchange currency in Tajikistan

Until now, buying or selling foreign currency in Tajikistan usually meant going to an exchange office, waiting in line, working around opening hours, and carrying cash.

Now you can exchange currency online without visiting a bank or handling cash, directly in the Alif app. 

The service is already available to Visa and Mastercard holders, as well as customers with foreign currency accounts.

The service works around the clock. Create an exchange request in just a few minutes: it stays active for three days.

Flexible exchange rates

Set your own rate within the limits defined by the bank. Your request will remain active for three days until it is matched or canceled.

Exchange up to $10,000

Easily handle large amounts. The fee is just 0.1%. You can have up to 100 active buy and sell requests at the same time.

How it works

1. Open the Currency exchange service in the Alif app.
2. Tap Create request.
3. Select the currency, enter the amount, and set the rate.
4. Confirm the request, and you’re done.
