Gulanor Atobek possesses extensive and varied experience in finance and auditing. She is currently the CEO of Alif Bank, a leading bank in Tajikistan, having joined the team in October 2021 as Finance Director. &nbsp;Before her tenure at Alif Bank, Gulanor accumulated 18 years of experience in auditing across various sectors in Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan. She spent 13 of those years leading the Deloitte office in Tajikistan. &nbsp;Gulanor also served on the Board of Directors of AmCham Tajikistan for 12 years, including 4 years as the Chair of the Board of Directors. &nbsp;She holds several professional qualifications, including US CPA and ACCA, and has an MBA from the American University in Central Asia. &nbsp;Her leadership and expertise have significantly contributed to the success of the organizations she has been a part of, demonstrating her dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence in her field.

With a background in management and economics, his career has taken him from advertising design and project management to strategic marketing and service quality leadership. &nbsp;Since 2016, he has been working at Alif, where he is responsible for developing service processes, marketing strategy, and corporate culture. For the past three years, he has been leading the bank as Deputy CEO, with a focus on building a customer-centric environment and driving the team’s strategic growth.

Khofiz Shahidi is the Owner and Chairman of Jefferson Capital, a private investment firm and one of the key investors in the Alif group of companies. Jefferson Capital actively invests in private equity and hedge funds, supports innovative ventures, and provides strategic advisory services to a select group of clients.&nbsp;With over 25 years of experience in banking, Khofiz has held roles at prominent institutions such as Crédit Agricole Indosuez and BSI Generali in London and Monaco. Throughout his career, he has participated in a wide range of equity and debt capital markets transactions — including IPOs, securities placements, and M&amp;A deals.&nbsp;Beyond his banking career, Khofiz owns several businesses in oil storage across Europe and in metal logistics, facilitating trade from Central Asia to the United States, Europe, and East Asia.&nbsp;He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Essex, United Kingdom, earned in 2000.

Nuriddin Akhmedov is a private equity specialist with extensive experience in investment banking and consulting. He currently serves as Investment Director at Atoll Capital, an independent private investment firm, where he leads Private Equity.&nbsp;Over the past decade, Nurddin has successfully closed transactions totaling over $2 billion across both Private equity and advisory roles. He began his career in the business valuation team at EY and moved to a Private Equity role, where he focused on telecommunications, media and technology (TMT), financial services (FIG), real estate, pharmaceuticals, and the consumer sector. He has worked at leading investment institutions in the CIS region, including Elbrus Capital, the Russian Direct Investment Fund, and Alfa-Bank — the largest privately owned banking group in Russia.&nbsp;In addition to his professional roles, Nuriddin actively manages an investment syndicate that has deployed over $5 million into private fast-growing companies across the US, Europe, and the CIS, primarily in B2B software companies.&nbsp;His deep expertise in corporate finance and strategic management enables companies to drive long-term planning, create value, align executive incentives, navigate mergers and acquisitions (M&amp;A), and prepare for public offerings.&nbsp;

He holds a PhD in political science, an MBA, and a Master’s degree in finance from London Business School.&nbsp;Azamat has completed professional training in Investment Management, Global Financial Compliance, and Anti-Money Laundering, accredited by the CFA Institute.&nbsp;&nbsp;Over the course of his career, he has managed portfolios for Ultra-High-Net-Worth individuals, serving as a trusted advisor and Chief Investment Officer (CIO).&nbsp;He founded a fintech mobility startup in West Africa and Middle East that provides taxi drivers with a digital platform for flexible car leasing.

Sukhrob Kurbonov is an expert in finance and auditing with over 15 years of experience. He currently serves as an Advisor to the Supervisory Board of JSCB Orient Finans Bank (Uzbekistan), a leading bank with assets exceeding USD 1.3 billion.&nbsp;Previously, Sukhrob held senior positions in the field of auditing, including Director of the Internal Audit Department at Capitalbank JSCB and Halkbank JSCB, where he led large audit teams (60+ people) and implemented industry best practices. He also served as Director of Internal Audit at Alfa-Bank OJSC (Belarus) and held leadership roles at Alfa-Bank (Russia) and Credit Europe Bank.&nbsp;He holds a PhD in Economics from the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics and graduated with honors in Economics from the Moscow State University of Service. He also holds a certificate in Corporate Strategy from the University of London. Sukhrob is an active member of professional associations, including the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (USA).&nbsp;He has completed numerous professional courses and is a frequent contributor of expert articles, as well as a regular speaker at conferences on internal audit, internal control, and corporate governance. He has participated as a speaker at many conferences in Switzerland, Russia, Latvia, Hungary, Ukraine, Belarus, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and other countries.

Sukhrob Kurbonov

Prior to her post as member of Supervisor Board of Alif Bank, she has worked as Head of Secretariat of the Development Coordination Council at the World Bank, UN, JICA and EU where she facilitated coordination between thirty members of international community / development partners with the government of Republic of Tajikistan in the areas of country's overall socioeconomic development.&nbsp;Before working at DCC, she served as an Economics Officer covering areas of macroeconomics, public finance management, and private sector development at the Swiss Cooperation Office, in the private sector of a Swiss based trading company, and in the corporate department of a private bank working with clients and international partners.&nbsp;&nbsp;She has substantial experience worked in several international organizations in the fields of financial and project management and communications.&nbsp;&nbsp;Nargis Esufbekova holds a Master’s degree in Development Management from the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK.
