Alif at the Silk Road Finance & Technology Forum
The Silk Road Finance & Technology Forum took place in Tashkent from August 24 to 26, bringing together around 2,000 participants from Central Asia, ASEAN countries, the Middle East, South Asia, and other regions. The event brought together regulators, financial institutions, fintech companies, investors, and technology leaders to discuss the future of finance and technology.
Alif Bank’s co-founders and CEO also participated in the forum. Gulanor Atobek spoke about Alif Bank’s experience and how the digital bank is evolving in response to changes in the financial market.
Zuhursho Rahmatulloev shared his perspective on the future of fintech and digital banking, drawing on his experience building technology-driven financial businesses across different markets. Abdullo Kurbanov spoke about scaling digital financial services and expanding into international markets.
Over the three-day forum, participants discussed Islamic finance, the digital transformation of the financial sector, regulation, financial infrastructure, investment, and new opportunities for businesses. The forum gave Alif an opportunity to exchange ideas, share its experience, and connect with the international financial and technology community.
