In honour of the 30th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has declared 2024 the Year of legal awareness. This declaration aims to increase legal awareness and understanding among the population, and provide access to free legal help.

Through various programs, the Tajik government enhances access to justice and actively supports legal awareness to improve citizens' legal awareness. The Legal Assistance Center, established in 2015, is a milestone in providing free legal services and access to justice for socially vulnerable populations

This initiative is an important step towards establishing a rule of law and protecting the rights of every individual. Throughout 2024, activities will be conducted to increase the population's legal knowledge.

This project strengthens civil society and reduces the number of offences, which is crucial for any state.
